About This
- Replacement for the WF3CB, PureSource 3, 706465, 242086201, 242086203, 242294501, 242069601, AP4567491, PS3412266, and WF425.
- Although the locking mechanism on the AquaFresh WF425 looks different from the OEM, it is compatible with the same refrigerator models. The construction of the top of the head is spring-loaded to improve stability and ensure a tight fit.
- To install the filter push the filter firmly into the receiver, because the head is spring-loaded it will require a little more pressure than the OEM. Once the filter has bottomed out in the receiver release pressure and the filter will lock into place. If the filter is not pushed in firmly enough it can pop out of the receiver with the locking mechanism opened. The locking mechanism needs to be reset to the closed position before installation or the filter will NOT lock into place.
- Aqua Fresh filters are certified to NSF/ANSI standard 42. Aqua Fresh filters use activated carbon to help reduce chlorine, harmful contaminants, heavy metals, impurities, deposits (while retaining beneficial minerals to the body) and provide clean, healthy water.
- Take your health a step further, with certified high-quality water filters because we take water seriously. Quality clean water that taste great and filter cost less than the original. For best filtration results, filter cartridges should be replaced every six months or 300 gallons.
